This horse has a really great temperament and is an easy ride with good scope and ability. The horse has an impressive range of paces. Enjoys all three disciplines. He is very brave cross country, with an excellent galloping stride.
Hunted for a number of Years with the Muskerry Foxhound and ridden in numerous charity rides riding club events by his owner. He began his eventing career in May of 2014. Where he progressed to one star Ridden by Mr Eamon Wycherley. Some hunting and charity rides in Winter 2014/15. Eventing season 2015 he was ridden by young rider Patrick Dennehy. Hunting and charity rides again in this winter.

The Dam Ceredigion Lady’s sire was the TB Ceredigion . Ceredigion has an impressive jumping pedigree and has many of modern day foundation jumping sires are mentioned in the background. Hyperion Gainsborough. Fair Trail. Nearco. Pharos. Ceredigion was listed as 5th best sire of eventers in an article named “The World Breeding Federation top ten eventing sires of 2006” published in April 2007 edition of “Horse International Sport & Breeding” magazine. Pallas Digion, Cermont, Park Pilot, Dereen, Lucky Ladybird, Derryclough Lady, Lenox Gess, Buzz Light-year, Clonlea Dusty, Innishannon Raisa, Kiletra, The Flashy boy were all first generation success of Ceredigion. Ceredigion’s only son Pallas Digion a successful show jumper is World renowned as a successful sire and rated by the WBFSH. His most famous offspring Spring Along who competed in the Olympics for Great Britain , Bailey Wick and Three Wishes to name but a few. Dances with Wolves by Chakiris out of Drimoleague Problem child by Ceredigion. Starboard by cruising out Lucky Ladybird by Ceredigion jumping at 1.40m. AOD Hermes A half-brother had a very successful year last year excelling on all outings and qualifying for the young event horse class in Dublin. He was well placed at many events and second in Millstreet Eventing Discovery.
Matinee Idol Ceredigion Lady’s first foal competed successfully in Ireland and won the 6 year old eventing league of 2007 in Ireland with Michael Ryan. representing Ireland at the World breeding eventing championships in Le Lion d’Angers before being sold to the UK to Philip Atkins owner of Parkmore ED and was originally stabled with William Fox Pitt. Now called Matinee Idol II
Ceredigion Lady (Matinee Idol), Syndicate Lady (Cermont & Park pilot), and Tullineaskey Butler (Millridge Kalmar) are all related through their mare line.
Ceredigion Lady’s Gran Dam (Black Beauty) is by the TB sire Tomahawk IV. This horse also sired many eventers including Saucy Brown.
