The Goresbridge Go For Gold Sale takes place on November 9th, 10th & 11th 2015.
Since the first Select Sale in 2010, graduates have been making a big impression on the world stage. Although even the early graduates are barely reaching maturity, the American based Copper Beach (Buck Davidson) has already won a CCI*** in Jersey Fresh. He recently returned to Irish soil to produce a brilliant double clear round in the feature Irish Field CCI*** at Tattersalls, as did Cooley Rorkes Drift who, ridden by Jonty Evans has recently been selected for Ireland’s ‘Rio Squad’. The Australian ridden Prince Mayo also shone under Paul Tapner to fill fourth spot in the CIC***.
On the far side of the world Red Curran was selected to represent China at the Asian Games last year, while Cooley SRS was the highest placed Irish bred seven-year-old at the World Championships for young horses at Le Lion D’Angers. From 2014, two young geldings have qualified for the prestigious Burghley Young Event Horse Championship, and also for the British young horse championships at Osberton.
