Galwaybay Sparkie is a 5 year old bay 16.2hh Gelding with an outstanding pedigree. He is by 1.60m stallion Spartacus TN. His dam is 9 year old Galwaybay Penelope who has jumped at 1.45m and is by Clinton x Heartbreaker. Galway Penelope has two siblings competing at 1.45m level, in Evita S and Chablis S.
Sparkie is a gentlemen and is very easy to load, clip, shoe etc, and has no vices
He has a high level of flatwork, and a very comfortable, scopey canter. Conformationally, he is very well put together, with straight clean limbs, no lumps or bumps. He has 4 white socks and a star.
Sparkie is genuine and honest, he hacks out alone or with company, has jumped cross country and into water
He has a lot of scope and tries hard to jump clear rounds; he is very careful. He is keen to his fences and will take a rider out of trouble. Sparkie has plenty of ring experience for his age, he has jumped in most of the big arenas around the country, both indoor and outdoor, and never has an issue. He has qualified for the prestigious RDS Dublin Horse 5 year old class.
This is a kind natured horse with a lot of talent, who is very honest and genuine, with a trainable brain, who loves his job and tries very hard for his rider.
He has a clean set of x-rays and is open to any vetting.
