Easter, by Kannan, is a homebred 5 year old mare out of the highly ranked traditionally bred 1.40 show jumper Ballycapple Mist (By Boherdeal Clover (Ish) x Cruising (Ish) x Chairlift (TB)) This super consistent mare has already jumped up to 1.20 and last time out was the joint winner of the Irish Studbook series 5 year old class at The Meadows with 3 clear rounds over two days. She was also joint winner in 3 out of 4 of her 4 yr old classes last year and has multiple clears this year at 1.10.
The dam herself is one of just a few traditionally bred 1.40 jumpers breeding in Ireland with her own dam line littered with performance.
Easter is a blood mare to ride with a super brain, she is ideal to produce now through age classes for a professional but also easy enough for a competitive and talented younger rider or amateur to bring through the ranks. Her breeding and rare dams line also make her an attractive investment broodmare for ET or breeding after her career. Good to do in all respects, an absolute pleasure to have on the yard or at shows.
