Has competed at training shows, schooled over cross country and riding club. To date has 2 SJI points. She has been brought along slowly and given the time to mature. She has the potential make a very good amateur horse. Given the right partnership this horse has a bright future ahead.
Sire: Harlequin Du Carel is a son of the international show jumper Rosire who is also the sire of the famous international jumpers like a Hermine d’Auzay(Daniel Etter ) and Don Juan de Cuves (Carini Luca).Dam sire Starter is also the dam sire of Baloubet Du Rouet.
Harlequin Du Carel was approved by the Selle Francais studbook in 2000 and by the Irish Sport Horse Studbook in 2009. He decends from the selle francais mareline 1223 . This line has produced the stallions Kildare Du Carel and Rocky Du Carel. Harlequin Du Carel has produced international show jumpers Dorada (Shane Breen), Vivs Diamond (Nick Motmans) and Du Noble ( Aidan Killeen)
Dam Sire: Chippison has performed at the very top level in the world by competing at the World Equestrian Games in Aachen in 2006, jumping clear to help the Irish team to 6th place at the games and finishing as the leading Irish combination. He has mainly been campaigned abroad and has been a member of the Irish team since 2002, having won numerous prizes at top international shows in Europe and in Canada.
Due to both his own success and performance along with that of his progeny Chippison has received the exclusive five star rating from Horse Sport Ireland. Like his father the great “Cavalier Royale” he is producing big scope types with good movement suitable for the showjumping and eventing markets. He is also passing on his great Irish temperament and his youngsters seem to be brave and easy to work with.
